Buildings That Care
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at North East Workspace. We strive to create workspaces that maximise a business's potential and that are guided by sustainable thinking and with environmental impact in mind.
As an organisation, we recycle 85% of the waste that we produce, have taken steps to reduce our carbon footprint by installing solar panels in a number of our office spaces and promote cycling to work by introducing bike storage facilities at the majority of our sites.
2021 National Enterprise Network's Sustainability in Enterprise Award
In 2021 PNE and North East Workspace won the 2021 National Enterprise Network's Sustainability in Enterprise Award. The award recognises the hard work and supports the team has provided during 2021 and celebrates our steps to make North East Workspace sustainable and move towards net zero.
The panel recognised the steps taken to reduce waste, carbon output and use of "green" energy providers as examples in their reasoning. North East Workspace and PNE are incredibly honored to receive this award and we are continuing to push our sustainability agenda with new and exciting projects.
